Warning: It is recommended to check the coolant level on a cold engine, as its volume increases when heated and the coolant level may rise significantly in a warm engine.
If necessary, check the density of the coolant with a hydrometer, which should be 1.078-1.085 g/cm³ for Tosol A-40 liquid.
If the fluid level in the tank is below normal and the density is above normal, then add distilled water. If the density is normal, add the same brand of fluid that is in the cooling system. If the density of the fluid in the cooling system is below normal and the car will be used in the cold season, then it is necessary to replace the coolant.
