Vacuum booster 7 is used in the brake drive (pic. 116) and rear brake pressure regulator 3. The first creates comfort when driving by reducing the force applied to the brake pedal and pedal travel. The pressure regulator prevents the rear wheels from locking before the front wheels lock. It works at a certain pressure, and its action does not depend on the load on the rear axle of the car, unlike previous VAZ models.

Scheme of the brake drive: 1 - brake mechanism of the front wheel; 2 - brake drive circuit left front - right rear; 3 - pressure regulator; 4 - main cylinder; 5 - brake drive circuit right front - left rear; 6 — a tank of the main cylinder; 7 - vacuum amplifier; 8 - brake mechanism of the rear wheel; 9 - brake pedal.
A number of components of the service brake system are unified with previously produced models. So, for example, a vacuum booster is used from a VAZ-2103 car, the main cylinder is from VAZ-2121, master cylinder reservoir - from VAZ-21011, front and rear hoses - from VAZ-2108. A number of parts for the brake drive and brake mechanisms have also been unified.
The original design has a rear wheel brake mechanism with manual or automatic adjustment of the gap between the shoes and the drum. The brake mechanisms of the wheels of the VAZ-11113 car are equipped with automatic adjustment.
