When turning the lever 8 (see figure 19) control of air damper 2 clockwise until it stops; the air damper should be completely closed under the action of spring 1. If the damper is not closed, eliminate the cause of the jamming.
With the air damper fully closed, press manually on the rod 4 of the starting device until it stops. In this case, the air damper 2 should open by (2.2±0.2) mm (starting gap B). If necessary, adjust this gap using adjusting screw 6.
With the air damper fully closed, the throttle valve 9 of the first chamber should be slightly open by 0.7-0.8 mm (starting gap C). If necessary, adjust this gap using adjusting screw 10.
