Remove the air filter (see subsection 10.10.1.).
If it is difficult to move the wire rod in the sheath, you can try to lubricate it. To do this, remove the traction from the car. While holding the rod vertically and periodically moving the wire rod in the sheath, fill the oil (motor or transmission) into the shell until it starts to flow out of the opposite end of the shell. If this does not give positive results, you need to replace the traction assembly.
1. Loosen the bolt that secures the linkage to the choke lever.
2. Loosen the bolt that secures the tie rod shell to the bracket.
3. Remove the rod shell from the bracket and disconnect the rod from the air damper actuator lever.
4. In the cabin, unscrew the four screws securing the steering column covers.
5. Press the lower stalk down slightly so that you can access the choke linkage mounting bracket.
6. Insert the awl into the hole in the latch and, using the awl as a lever, push the latch out of the slot in the tip of the rod sheath.
7. Using pliers, finally remove the retainer.
8. Pull the rod towards you from the holes of the bracket and the bulkhead.
9. Pull the handle with the rod out of the shell and, turning the handle, remove it from the rod. Install the tie rod in the reverse order of removal.
10. Before tightening the bolt that secures the linkage to the choke lever, adjust its actuator. To do this, turn the choke lever until it is fully open.
11. Pull the rod completely out of the shell and...
12.... tighten the bolt securing the rod to the choke lever (make sure that the traction is not bent).
13. Check for proper drive adjustment. To do this, pull the choke control on the instrument panel to the stop. Wherein...
14....the air damper must close completely.
15. Push the choke handle in completely - the choke should open fully. It can be controlled...
16.... along the ball of the lever lock, which should fall into the hole on the lever.
17. If it is not possible to adjust the complete closing of the air damper with the help of the rod, unscrew the bolt of the rod shell.
18. By moving the shell, achieve complete closure of the damper. Tighten the shell fixing bolt. After that, check again and, if necessary, adjust the full opening of the air damper using the rod.
