Remove the air filter (see subsection 10.10.1.).
If the cable threads are broken or the cable in the sheath is difficult to move, replace the rod.
If it is difficult to move the cable in the traction sheath, you can try to lubricate it. To do this, remove the traction from the car. While holding the rod vertically and periodically moving the cable in the sheath, fill in the oil (motor or transmission) into the shell until it starts to flow out of the opposite end of the shell. If this does not give positive results, the traction must be replaced, since the cable threads inside the shell, which cling to it, most likely broke off.
1. Under the instrument panel, using a wrench as a lever, slide the tip of the traction cable from the finger and...
2.... disconnect it from the accelerator pedal.
3. In the engine compartment, slide the protective cap from the tip of the thrust shell.
4. Unscrew the nut completely from the sheath tip.
5. Remove the tip of the traction cable from the intermediate lever.
6. After sliding the tip of the shell, remove the rod from the bracket of the intermediate lever.
7. Remove the rod from the hole in the front end shield.
8. Install the new rod in the reverse order of removal. When connecting the tip of the cable to the intermediate lever, lay the cable in the slot of the lever.
9. Before tightening the adjusting nuts, adjust the throttle actuator. To do this, by screwing one of the nuts, ensure that the damper opens and closes completely (when screwing nut 1, the damper opens, and nuts 2 closes).
10. While holding the nut with which the drive was adjusted with a wrench, tighten the second nut with another wrench.
11. If the length of the rod is not enough to adjust the position of the throttle valves (in this case, the throttle valve does not close completely)...
12....loosen the lock nuts on the tie rod ends...
13.... remove the rod end from the intermediate drive lever...
14....fasten the tip of the rod shell in the bracket approximately in the middle...
15....when screwing or unscrewing the tips, change the length of the intermediate rod so that...
16....it could be connected without moving the levers. Secure the tips with locknuts. After that, check again and, if necessary, adjust the full throttle opening using the rod.
17. Press all the way down on the accelerator pedal. In this case, the throttle valves should be fully open (throttle lever should turn clockwise until it stops).
18. Make sure the dampers are fully open. To do this, press the tip of the intermediate rod. If it can be moved further, then the adjustment needs to be repeated.
19. Release the accelerator pedal until the dampers are fully closed. The throttle lever should turn, moving the intermediate rod to the stop in the opposite direction. If this does not happen, repeat the adjustment.
