Remove the air filter (see subsection 10.10.1.).
If the cable threads break or the cable moves with difficulty in the casing, replace the rod.
If the cable is difficult to move in the casing of the rod, you can try to lubricate it. To do this, remove the rod from the car. Hold the rod vertically and periodically move the cable in the casing, pour in oil (engine or transmission) into the shell until it starts to flow out of the opposite end of the shell. If this does not give positive results, the rod must be replaced, since most likely the threads of the cable inside the shell that cling to it have broken.
1. Under the instrument panel, using a wrench as a lever, slide the end of the traction cable off the pin and...
2....disconnect it from the accelerator pedal.
3. In the engine compartment, slide the protective cap off the end of the tie rod housing.
4. Unscrew the nut completely from the shell tip.
5. Remove the traction cable end from the intermediate lever.
6. After sliding the end of the shell, remove the rod from the intermediate lever bracket.
7. Remove the rod from the hole in the front shield.
8. Install the new rod in the reverse order of removal. When connecting the cable end to the intermediate lever, place the cable in the slot of the lever.
9. Before tightening the adjusting nuts, adjust the throttle actuator. To do this, tighten one of the nuts until the valve opens and closes completely (when tightening nut 1, the valve opens, and when tightening nut 2, it closes).
10. Using a wrench to hold the nut used to adjust the drive from turning, tighten the second nut with another wrench.

11. If the length of the rod is not enough to adjust the position of the throttle valves (in this case the throttle valve does not close completely)...
12.... loosen the locknuts of the intermediate rod ends...
13....remove the tie rod end from the intermediate drive lever...
14....fix the end of the tie rod housing into the bracket approximately in the middle...
15....by screwing or unscrewing the tips, change the length of the intermediate rod so that...
16....it can be connected without moving the levers. Secure the ends with locknuts. Then check again and, if necessary, adjust the full opening of the throttle valve using the rod.
17. Press the accelerator pedal all the way down. The throttle valves should be fully open (the throttle lever should turn clockwise until it stops).
18. Make sure the flaps are fully open by pressing the tip of the intermediate rod. If it can be moved further, the adjustment must be repeated.
19. Release the accelerator pedal, the flaps should close completely. The throttle lever should turn, moving the intermediate rod all the way in the opposite direction. If this does not happen, repeat the adjustment.
