To preserve the paintwork of the body for a long time and keep it in good condition, it is necessary to select polishing agents that correspond to the condition of the coating. At the same time, it is necessary to follow the recommendations for their use.
In the first two or three months of car operation, wash the body with cold water. For polishing a new coating (up to three years) use non-abrasive polishing agents for new coatings.
When using a car for three to five years, use car polishes for weathered coatings that contain a small amount of abrasive substances; after five years of intensive use, use car polishes for old coatings.
To prevent the polish from drying out, polish the body in small areas by hand with a clean flannel.
To eliminate minor defects in the paintwork, polishing pastes PMA-1 or PMA-2 can be used. You can polish manually and mechanically, with flannel or zigek wheels.
Stir the paste before use, dilute with water when thickened. After polishing, wipe the surface with a clean flannel.
