Attention! To secure the shock absorber and its parts in a vice, use special jaws 67.7824.9513-001.
2. Having pulled the shock absorber rod out to the stop, unscrew nut 29 (see Fig. Shock absorbers for front and rear suspensions) of the reservoir with the key A.57034/R, remove the working cylinder 21 with the rod 20 and its parts from the reservoir. Release the reservoir from the vice and drain the liquid from it.
3. Using key 67.7824.9513-005, remove guide bushing 23 of the rod from the working cylinder. Remove rod 20 from the cylinder together with the piston and other parts and drain the fluid. Carefully, using a special mandrel, knock out housing 2 of the compression valve together with the parts from the cylinder.
4. Place the rod with the piston in the jaws, clamp it in a vice and unscrew the nut 8 of the recoil valve. Remove the piston 10 with the valves (bypass and recoil), guide bushing 23, rod seal 26, seal collar 25 and other parts.
Attention! For the convenience of inspecting the surface of the rod covered by the casing, it is also recommended to press the casing of the front suspension shock absorber.
5. Disassemble the compression valve by removing the sleeve 6 and then sequentially removing the spring 5, plate 7 and valve discs 3 and 4 from the housing 2.
6. Assemble the shock absorber in the reverse order of disassembly, taking into account the following:
- after assembling the compression valve, make sure that there is free movement of the plate 7 and the valve discs;
- press clip 6 onto body 2 using a special mandrel;
- press the compression valve into the cylinder using mandrel 67.7824.9513-004;
- to facilitate assembly of parts located on the rod, use guides 67.7824.9513-003;
- the throttle disc 15 of the front shock absorber has three grooves along the outer diameter, and the throttle disc of the rear shock absorber has six;
- front shock absorber rebound valve spring copper plated, rear shock absorber - uncoated;
- tighten the rebound valve nut to a torque of 11.7–14.7 N·m (1.2–1.5 kgf·m);
- tighten the reservoir nut with the piston rod fully extended using wrench 67.7824.9513-002 (tightening torque 68.6–88.2 N·m (7–9 kgf·m).
