1. Clean and blow out the generator with compressed air. Loosen the screw and remove the brush holder 2 with the brushes.
2. Remove the alternator pulley using tool 67.7823.9504. To do this, lock the pulley with the grip included in the tool kit, unscrew the pulley mounting nut and press the pulley with a puller. Remove the key and conical washer of the pulley. Tool 67.7823.9504 includes a standard puller and grip. The latter consists of two steel half rings that are inserted into the pulley groove. The half rings have the same cross-section as the alternator drive belt. On one side, they are connected by a hinge, and on the other, they are equipped with levers that are squeezed by hand when unscrewing the nut and removing the pulley.
3. Loosen the nuts of the four tie bolts 16 and disconnect the rear cover 18 with the stator 8 and rectifier block 6 from the front cover 11 with the rotor 9.
4. Remove the rotor with the spacer ring from the front cover bearing.
5. Loosen the nuts of the screws connecting the valve tips to the stator winding terminals, remove the plug of the central terminal of the stator winding from the block 4 and disconnect the stator from the rear cover.
6. Unscrew the nut of the contact bolt 7 and remove the rectifier block 6 from the cover.
