On cars with a vacuum booster introduced into the brake system, pedal assemblies unified in all details are installed. On those models that do not have a vacuum booster, the pedal assembly differs in the pedal bracket and the brake pedal.
Pedals 16 (pic. 195) clutch and 5 brakes are mounted on the bracket 1 using the axle 15, made in the form of a bolt. The axis is fixed with a nut 2 in the holes of the bracket. On the axis between the cheeks of the bracket and the distance sleeve 6, the inner sleeves 3 and 13 of the clutch and brake pedals are clamped. Pedals are pivotally mounted on these bushings, in the hubs of which outer bushings 4 and 8 are pressed in. Pushers 77 and 79 are pivotally attached to both pedals, one of which acts on the vacuum booster piston, the other on the clutch release cylinder piston. The reverse motion of the clutch pedal is limited by the buffer 10 mounted on the head of the screw 77. A vacuum booster and the main cylinder of the clutch release drive are attached to the vertical shelf of the bracket 7.
