The headlight washer electric motor and the gearbox are located in one housing, forming an electric drive assembly. The electric drive has a reusable thermal bimetallic fuse to protect the electric motor from overloads. The design of the wiper electric drive is non-separable, and in case of failure it is replaced with a new one. Basic data for checking the wiper electric drive (at 12 V and 25°C):
- The number of double shaft strokes per minute at a torque of 0.1 kgf·m is 50±5
- Current consumption at a torque of 0.1 kgf·m, A, no more than — 1.5
