Hood 13 is hung on hinges 2 along the rear edge. Enlarged holes in the hinge brackets allow adjustment of the position of the hood in the opening of the body. The hood rests on rubber buffers 7. A hood lock with a hook 5 is installed in the front part of the hood, which prevents spontaneous opening of the hood. The hook is pressed by spring 9. The lock is operated by a cable, the lock handle is located in the cabin on the left side under the instrument panel. The handle is connected by a rod in the shell 19 to the spring 21, which fixes the hood by pin 3 in the closed position. The pin is wrapped in the hood and secured with a locknut. By changing the position of the pin, the position of the hood is adjusted in relation to the front surfaces of the front fenders and the radiator lining. Cups 4 and 11 are installed on the pin with a spring 12 between them. In the open position, the hood is held by a metal stop 6. The ends of the stops are installed in plastic bushings 1.
