Clutch release drive mechanical with spring booster (servo mechanism). The clutch and brake pedals are suspended on a common axis from bracket 11 (figure 58). A lever 14 of the booster is welded to the clutch pedal 13, which is pivotally connected to the pusher 16. The end of the pusher is secured with a bracket 15. A pre-compressed spring 17 is installed at the end of the pusher between the support washer and the support 18. The support 18 rests against the socket of the bracket welded to the pedal bracket. The upper part of the pedal is connected to the shackle 12 of the clutch drive cable. The lower end 6 of the cable sheath 7 is clamped in the socket of the bracket 3 by two adjusting nuts 5 with washers 4. A leash 1 is fastened to the lower end of the cable, which is connected with a pin to the lever 19 of the clutch release fork. The lower end of the cable is covered with a cover 2. The upper end 8 of the cable sheath 10 is located in a rubber buffer 9, the end of which rests against the socket of the front of the body.
Figure 58. Clutch drive
To reduce the noise level in the car, rubber parts are used in the clutch drive, preventing vibration of the parts. At the same time, they provide elasticity of the clutch drive. Therefore, it is sometimes difficult to detect the end of its free travel by the force on the pedal. As a result, the free travel is checked on the lever 19 of the clutch release fork.
