Instrument cluster in a variant design (VAZ-2110)

            0

In the variant version, the cars are equipped with a combination of instruments with a single-line liquid crystal mileage indicator. It uses a self-test mode, which consists of a single movement of the instrument arrows in the entire range of scales when the ignition is turned on.

In a variant version, the vehicle can be equipped with a combination of instruments shown in Fig. 29.

In a variant version, the vehicle can be equipped with a combination of instruments shown in Fig.…

1 - tachometer. Shows the engine crankshaft speed. The red scale zone is a dangerous operating mode for the engine. Do not exceed the maximum permitted engine speed (threshold - 6000 rpm).

CAUTION! Operating the engine in a dangerous mode is prohibited.

2 - Left turn signal indicator. Lights up with a green flashing light when the left turn signal is turned on.

3 - speedometer. Shows the speed of the car.

4 - Right turn signal indicator. Lights up with a green flashing light when the right turn signal is turned on.

5 - coolant temperature indicator. If the coolant temperature indicator arrow enters the red zone (more than 115°C), a constant beep sounds (within 5 seconds) buzzer sound signal. The signal will be repeated until the coolant temperature arrow leaves the red zone (less than 110°C). Do not allow the engine to operate in overheating mode.

ATTENTION! It is prohibited to operate a vehicle with an overheated engine. The vehicle must be delivered to a certified service station to determine and eliminate the cause of the engine overheating.

6 - fuel level indicator. When the pointer moves into the red zone of the scale or the fuel reserve indicator lights up, it indicates the need to refuel to avoid interruptions in engine operation.

ATTENTION! Never allow your fuel to run out completely. This may lead to an emergency situation on the road due to your car stopping unexpectedly for other road users.

7 - Fuel reserve indicator. Lights up orange when refueling is required to avoid interruptions in engine operation.

At the same time as the light indicator lights up, an intermittent sound is heard (2 repeated on/off cycles of 0.25 seconds) buzzer sound signal.

8 - button for resetting the daily mileage counter.

9 - Hazard warning light indicator. Lights up with a red flashing light when the hazard warning light is turned on.

10 - Electric power steering indicator.

11 - High beam indicator. Lights up blue when the high beam headlights are turned on.

12 - Parking brake indicator. Lights up red when the parking brake is engaged.

CAUTION! To avoid the brake shoes sticking and freezing to the drums (especially in the spring-autumn period of the year) do not park your vehicle for long periods of time with the parking brake on.

13 - Main light switch indicator. Lights up green when the outside lighting is turned on.

14 - Airbag indicator. Lights up orange when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine starts.

ATTENTION! In all other cases, the indicator light indicates a malfunction, the elimination of which must be carried out only at a certified PSSS.

15 - Oil pressure warning light. Lights up red when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine starts.

When the engine is running, the indicator light is on and the light is constant (within 5 seconds) the buzzer sound indicates insufficient pressure in the engine lubrication system.

ATTENTION! If the oil pressure warning light comes on, stop driving immediately, turn off the engine and contact a certified service center to fix the problem, as insufficient pressure in the lubrication system will cause the engine to fail.

16 - immobilizer indicator. Lights up orange and displays the immobilizer status.

17 - liquid crystal indicator. The upper line displays the total or daily mileage, and the lower line displays the time, outside air temperature or on-board computer functions.

18 - Seat belt indicator. Lights up red when the ignition is turned on if the seat belts are not fastened.

At the same time as the light indicator lights up, an intermittent sound is heard (5 repeat cycles consisting of on/off/on respectively for 0.5/0.25/0.25 seconds) buzzer sound signal.

Warning! When driving a car, always wear a seat belt and do not transport passengers who are not wearing a seat belt!

19 - Low battery indicator. Lights up red when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine starts.

When the engine is running, the indicator glows and the light flashes intermittently (5 repeated on/off cycles of 0.5 seconds) the buzzer sound means that the vehicle's electrical system is not functioning properly and indicates a malfunction of the battery charging system, weak tension or a break in the alternator drive belt, or a malfunction of the alternator itself.

ATTENTION! In this case, you must contact a certified PSSS.

20 - "Brake failure" indicator. Lights up red when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine starts.

When the engine is running, the indicator light is on and the light is intermittent (5 repeated on/off cycles of 0.5 seconds) the buzzer sound indicates a very low level of brake fluid in the brake hydraulic reservoir.

Warning! It is prohibited to operate the vehicle with the indicator constantly lit. In this case, you must contact a certified SSSS.

21 - Electronic brake force distributor malfunction indicator.

22 - Brake lining wear indicator (in a variant design).

23 - Anti-lock brake system indicator. Lights up orange when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine starts.

ATTENTION! In all other cases, the indicator light indicates a malfunction, the elimination of which must be carried out only at a certified PSSS.

24 - "Engine" indicator. Lights up orange when the ignition is turned on and goes out after the engine starts.

When the engine is running, the indicator light does not mean that the engine should be stopped immediately - the controller has backup modes that allow the engine to operate under conditions close to normal.

ATTENTION! However, the cause of the malfunction must be eliminated by a certified PSSS as quickly as possible.
