Phased distributed injection with neutralizer (VAZ-2110)

The distributed injection power supply system with a neutralizer differs from the previous system primarily in the computer (what it is, we will consider below), neutralizer and oxygen sensor (lambda probe).

The catalytic converter consists of a metal housing containing a ceramic honeycomb block. The honeycomb is sprayed with a catalytic compound. The composition includes very expensive elements: platinum, palladium, rhodium.

The computer receives information about the oxygen content in the exhaust gases and maintains the optimal ratio of the combustible mixture.

Exhaust gases pass through the catalytic composition of the neutralizer, and toxic components react with the elements of the catalytic composition. As a result of the reaction, toxic elements are converted into water, nitrogen and carbon dioxide. The content of harmful impurities in the exhaust gases is significantly reduced.
