Work sequence
1. Install new gearbox differential bearings. Under the outer ring of the differential bearing, instead of the old adjusting ring, we install an adjusting ring with a thickness of 1.25 mm.
2. We install the differential in the clutch housing and connect the gearbox and clutch housings.
3. We tighten at least three nuts equidistant from each other, tightening the clutch housings and gearboxes with a torque of 2.5 kgf·m.
4. Turn the differential case two or three turns to self-align the bearings.
5. We move the differential along the axis, measure the amount of movement with the indicator.
The thickness of the adjusting ring is determined by the formula:
H \u003d A + B + C, Where
H is the thickness of the required differential adjusting ring;
A - the value of the axial movement of the differential;
B is the bearing preload value;
C is the thickness of the adjusting ring.
