Using a slotted screwdriver, pry up the ornament on top (above the letters "H" and "A" in the word "NIVA") to remove the two upper latches from the overlay.
Having moved the ornament upwards, we release the two lower latches and remove the ornament.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws that secure the trim to the tailgate..
