Remove the spare tire.
When the vacuum booster fails, the resistance of the brake pedal increases significantly, which negatively affects the control of the car.
The vacuum booster cannot be repaired.

1. While holding the vacuum booster check valve, remove the vacuum hose from it.

2. Unscrew the tee fastening nut. Please note...

3....a spring washer is installed under the nut.

4. Carefully remove the tee from the stud without bending the brake pipes.

5. Remove the two nuts securing the master brake cylinder to the vacuum booster (spring washers are installed under the nuts).

6. Without disconnecting the brake lines, carefully move the master cylinder away from the vacuum booster.

7. From inside the cabin, pry it up with a screwdriver and...

8....remove the retaining plate of the pin connecting the booster pushrod to the brake pedal.

9. Push your finger in with a screwdriver and then...

10.... remove it, thereby disconnecting the vacuum booster pushrod from the pedal.

11. Unscrew the two nuts securing the amplifier on both sides of the bracket (at the same time, these nuts secure the pedal assembly bracket). Please note...

12....a spring and a flat washers are installed under each nut.

13. Remove the vacuum booster (in the engine compartment). Install the new vacuum booster in the reverse order of removal.
