Shock absorber 8 (figure 99) the rear suspension is hydraulic, telescopic, double-acting. It is attached with bolt 9 to the bracket of the longitudinal suspension arm. The upper shock absorber mount is pin-type: the rod is attached to the upper support 5 of the suspension spring through rubber cushions 6, cup 2 and support washers 3. An insulating gasket 4 is installed between spring 1 and support 5. The lower part of the spring rests against cup 7. The shock absorber parts are shown in Figure 100.

In the hub 13 (see figure 99) a double-row radial thrust bearing 12 is installed, similar to the front wheel hub bearing, but smaller in size. Unlike the front wheel hub, where the inner ring of the bearing is installed on the hub with a guaranteed tension, bearing 12 has a transition fit. It is fixed in the hub with a locking ring 16, and on the axle 14 with a nut 15. The wheel axle is fastened with its flange with bolts 10 to the flange of the rear suspension beam. Brake drum I is fastened to the wheel hub with bolts and mounting pins 17.
