2. Remove the toothed pulley from the crankshaft.
3. To avoid losing the key, remove it from the groove in the crankshaft.
Warning! When removing the oil seal, do not scratch the working surface of the crankshaft journal
4. Using a hook or thin curved pliers, pry the seal out of the seat.
5. Apply clean engine oil to the working edge of the new oil seal and press it in through a mandrel or a piece of pipe of a suitable diameter so that the outer edge of the oil seal is flush with the edge of its seat.
6. Insert the key into the groove of the crankshaft.
7. Install the toothed pulley on the shaft, making sure that the key does not fall out of the seat and enters the slot of the pulley.
8. Install the timing belt and crankshaft pulley in the reverse order of removal and adjust the belt tension (see "Timing Belt - Checking Condition and Adjusting Tension").
