Comment. On the 21124 engine, the inlet pipeline is made as a single unit with the receiver and is made of plastic.
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. We remove the throttle assembly from the inlet pipeline without disconnecting the hoses from it (see "Throttle assembly - removal, gasket replacement and installation").
3. Disconnect the throttle cable from the intake manifold (see "Throttle valve - replacement of the drive cable").
4. Disconnect the wiring harness pads from the ignition coils (see "Engine ignition coils 21124 (1,6i 16v) - check and replacement").
5. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the crankshaft position sensor (see "Crankshaft Position Sensor - Check and Replace").
6. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the camshaft position sensor (see "Camshaft Position Sensor - Check and Replace").
7. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the adsorber purge valve (see "Canister Purge Valve - Check and Replace").
8. Remove the wiring harness from the intake manifold and set it aside.
9. Having loosened the clamp, remove the hose of the vacuum brake booster from the inlet pipe.
10. Key by 8 mm loosen the clamp securing the hose of the crankcase ventilation system.
11. Remove the hose from the branch pipe of the cylinder head cover.
12. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the self-tapping screw (1) fixing the guide tube of the oil level indicator.
13. We take out the guide tube together with the oil level indicator from the engine block and remove it.
14. Key by 10 mm loosen two nuts (1) attaching the intake manifold to the cylinder head cover and three bolts (2) fixing the ignition coils of the first, second and third cylinders.
15. Remove the ignition coils of the first, second and third cylinders (see "Engine ignition coils 21124 (1,6i 16v) - check and replacement").
16. socket wrench by 13 mm unscrew three nuts (2) and two bolts (1) attaching the intake manifold to the side surface of the engine cylinder head.
17. Moving forward, remove the intake manifold from the engine.
18. We remove the damaged sealing rings from the inlet pipeline.
19. We install new sealing rings and assemble in the reverse order.
