Cleaning
Before repairing the brakes, wash them thoroughly with warm water and detergent and dry immediately with compressed air.
Warning: Do not use gasoline, diesel fuel, trichlorethylene or any other mineral solvents when cleaning the brakes as this will damage the cylinder seals.
Removing
Raise the front of the car, put it on stands and remove the wheel.
Remove the hose guide brackets. Turn away bypass bolts, disconnect from the block of cylinders hoses 10 (rice. 6-12), while preventing dirt from entering the cylinder cavities. Muffle inlet openings of the block of cylinders and hoses.
Having straightened the edges of the protective cover of the front brake, unscrew the bolts securing the brake to the steering knuckle (pic. 6-13) and remove the brake assembly.
Installation
Installing the front brake is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
After installation, restore the level of brake fluid in the reservoir and bleed the system to remove air from the hydraulic actuator.
