To replace pads, do the following:
- unpin the axle of the upper clamping lever, remove it and remove the lever; remove the caliper assembly and remove the worn pads from the grooves of the guide (pic. 6-16);
- carefully sink the pistons in the cylinders to the stop, then making sure that the liquid does not splash out of the master cylinder reservoir, and install new brake pads in the grooves of the guide;
- bringing the lower guide bevel on the caliper under the lower clamping lever, press the caliper against the blocks, insert the lever axle with the head from the side of the wheel and cotter it.

The pads must be changed simultaneously on the right and left brakes.
