Removal the ignition distributor sensor cover (VAZ-21214)

We remove the high-voltage wires from the cover.



We unfasten the two spring latches securing the cover..



…and remove the lid.

To replace the coal (spring loaded contact) turn the central electrode counterclockwise..



…and we take it out together with the spring from the lid socket.



We separate the spring and the carbon.



We install the ignition distributor sensor cover in the reverse order. In this case…



…we align the lid groove…



…with a plastic retainer installed in the distributor sensor housing.

We connect the wires to the cover in accordance with the cylinder numbering printed on the cover.
