The edges of the deformed parts are straightened, they are cleaned with a grinder. Holes with a diameter of 5 mm are drilled along the edges of the new panel in increments of 40-50 mm. Install the roof panel in place, adjust to the mating parts and openings of the wind window and tailgate and fasten with pliers. Temporarily hang the tailgate with adjustment along the opening and gaps and grab the panel by welding at 6-8 points. The tailgate is removed and the roof panel is welded along the holes made. Install the tailgate with the adjustment of the gaps in the opening of the body. After painting and anti-corrosion treatment, the removed components and parts are put in place.
Welding is performed in a carbon dioxide environment with wire Sv-08G1S or Sv-08G2S with a diameter of 0.8 mm.
