To remove the clutch drive, disconnect the upper tip 14 (see fig. 74) cable from the clutch pedal by removing the locking bracket 15. Disconnect the latch 11 from the leash 8 and the lower tip 7 of the cable from the clutch release fork. Remove and push back the protective cap 5 and unscrew the nut 4, push it away together with the thrust washer 2 and the sleeve 3 from the tip 1. Displace the tip 1 of the shell in the axial direction and remove the cable 6 from the socket of the tide of the gearbox cover.
The latch 11 is moved away from the leash 8 and the lower tip 7 from the fork 12 of the clutch release. Carefully detach the retaining clip of the cable sheath from the mudguard of the body. Unscrew the fastening nuts of the upper lug 19 of the sheath and remove the cable assembly from the front end of the body, leaving the sealant 13 of the cable sheath on the fastening studs.
To remove the clutch pedal, disconnect the upper tip 14 of the cable by removing the locking bracket 15. Then remove the spring 16, the locking bracket of the pedal axle and remove the axle from the bracket along with the clutch pedal. Remove the clutch pedal from the axle.
To remove the clutch from the flywheel of the engine, first remove the gearbox (see sect. «Transmission»). Unscrew the bolts securing the clutch cover and remove it complete with the pressure plate. This frees the drive disk. If necessary, remove the plug 6 (see fig. 73) disengagement of the clutch, for which the clutch 3 is removed complete with the clutch release bearing, the protective cover 7 from the crankcase and, having overcome the force of the fixing spring, the fork 6 is removed from the ball bearing 5.
