Gear selection mechanism: 1 – fork of inclusion of transfer of a backing; 2 - gear selection lever; 3 – top spring; 4 – mechanism body; 5 - lower spring
You will need:
- key "on 10"
- screwdriver
Remove gear selector from gearbox (see subsection 11.1.2.).
Difficulty engaging gears can be caused by wear on parts of the gear selection mechanism.
1. Loosen the gear selector shaft bolt.
2. Please note: there is a washer under the bolt head.
3. Remove the stop plate with a screwdriver.
4. Take out the spring...
5....thrust washer and...
6....fixing ball.
7. Take out an axis of the lever of a choice of transfers.
8. While holding the springs, remove the gear selector lever from the mechanism housing.
9. Remove the upper arm spring...
10....thrust washer of the upper spring...
11....lower spring support washer and...
12....lower spring.
13. Remove the retaining ring for the reverse gear fork axle.
14. Remove the reverse gear fork.
15. Replace worn, damaged, or bent selector lever and reverse gear fork.
16. Replace bent, broken or sagging springs.
17. Replace worn gear selector shaft.
18. Assemble the gear selector in the reverse order of disassembly. At the same time, note that the springs of the gear selector lever have different elasticity. Therefore, for distinction, the lower 1 spring is galvanized, and the upper 2 is uncoated.
