Attention! Oil-squeezing notches at the seals of the right and left internal joints are directed in different directions. To identify the oil seals, they are marked with arrows and part numbers: for the right oil seal a, the part number is 2108-2301034, for the left b, the part number is 2110-2301035. The arrows show the direction of wheel rotation as the vehicle moves forward.
1. Remove the inner hinge seal from the box crankcase using a screwdriver.
2. Lubricate the working lip of the new oil seal with gear oil and press it all the way with a suitable mandrel with the working lip inside the box. Be careful: the right and left seals are different (see warning).
Replacing the input shaft seal
Remove the gearbox from the car (see subsection 11.1.1.).
Remove the guide bush (see subsection 11.2.4.).
Lubrication of the clutch discs can be caused by transmission oil leaking through the gearbox input shaft seal or engine oil leaking through the crankshaft rear oil seal. Engine and transmission oils have different smells. Therefore, having a certain skill, it is possible to identify a defective gland by smell.
3. Using a thin screwdriver or a thin wire hook, remove the oil seal. Press the new oil seal in until it stops, using a suitable mandrel, lubricating its lip with gear oil. In this case, the working edge of the stuffing box should be directed inside the gearbox.
Replacement of an epiploon of a rod of a choice of transfers
Remove the gearbox from the car (see subsection 11.1.1.).
Pull out the gear selector (see subsection 11.1.2.).
4. Press the oil seal out of the clutch housing and press in a new one using a suitable mandrel, lubricating its edge with gear oil. In this case, the working edge of the stuffing box should be directed inside the gearbox.
