1 (pic. 36) - an indicator of insufficient oil level in the engine crankcase. Lights up in orange if the oil level in the crankcase has dropped to the mark «MIN» by pointer. Before topping up the oil, check to see if there is any oil leakage due to loss of tightness in the lubrication system. In case of contradiction between the readings of the BSC and the engine oil level indicator, it is necessary to be guided by the readings of the latter.
2 - annunciator of an open left front door. Lights up red when the left front door is open.
3 - annunciator of an open right front door. Lights up red when the right front door is open.
4 - signaling device for malfunction of stop lamps and side lights. Lights up in orange if one of the stop lamps or parking lights is faulty.
5 - front brake pad wear indicator. Lights up in orange when the thickness of the pads has decreased to 1.5 mm.
6 - indicator of unfastened driver's seat belts (in a variant). Lights up red when the driver's seat belts are not fastened.
7 - signaling device for an open right rear door. Lights up red when the right rear door is open.
8 - signaling device for an open left rear door. Lights up red when the left rear door is open.
9 - indicator of insufficient coolant level in the expansion tank. Lights up in orange if the coolant level in the expansion tank has fallen below the permissible limit. Before topping up the coolant in the expansion tank, check for fluid leakage due to loss of tightness in the cooling system. In a variant version, cars are equipped with an expansion tank without a neck for installing a coolant level sensor.
10 - indicator of insufficient level of washer fluid in the tank. Lights up in orange when there is less than 1 liter of washer fluid in the reservoir.
ATTENTION! In variant versions of vehicles, indication of some of the parameters may be absent.
The block can be in the following modes:
- switched off;
- Standby mode;
- pre-departure control of signaling devices;
- parameter control.
The block is in «Switched off», if the key is not in the ignition switch. At position 0 («Turned off») key in the ignition switch, the unit enters standby mode. If the driver's door is opened at the same time, a malfunction will occur «Forgotten key in ignition switch», and the buzzer of the unit will beep intermittently for 5-10 seconds. The signal can be interrupted by closing the door, removing the key or turning the key to position I («Ignition»). In position I of the key, the unit switches to the mode «Pre-departure control of signaling devices», at which, to check their serviceability, all light and sound signaling devices are turned on for 2-6 seconds, and then after a pause of 1 second, the unit switches to the mode «Parameter control» and in the event of a malfunction, it generates an alarm according to the following algorithm:
- the indicator light of the parameter that is out of the norm starts flashing for 5-10 seconds, after which it switches to a constant glow mode until the malfunction is eliminated or the key in the ignition switch is returned to position 0 («Turned off»);
- simultaneously with the light signaling device, the sound signaling device turns on for 5-10 seconds;
- if at the same time another malfunction occurs, then the audible alarm and the light in the flashing mode begin to work for the last malfunction as a higher priority, and the warning light of the previous malfunction switches to the constant glow mode.
ATTENTION! A 10-minute delay has been introduced into the display unit of the onboard control system to indicate the oil level in the engine crankcase.
This delay is activated after the engine is stopped without removing the key from the ignition switch and is necessary for the oil to drain completely into the engine crankcase.
During the specified time interval, the display unit of the on-board control system remembers and displays the position of the oil level sensor that preceded the engine shutdown.
If the ignition key is removed, the current state of the oil level sensor is reset, and when the engine is restarted within a time interval of less than 10 minutes, a false alarm of an insufficient oil level may occur. This indication is not an indicator of the emergency condition of the engine lubrication system.
