1 (Fig. 36) - low oil level indicator in the engine crankcase. Lights up orange if the oil level in the engine crankcase has dropped to the "MIN" mark on the indicator. Before adding oil, check for oil leakage due to loss of tightness of the lubrication system. In case of contradiction between the readings of the BSK and the engine oil level indicator, it is necessary to be guided by the readings of the latter.
2 - Left front door open indicator. Lights up red if the left front door is open.
3 - Right front door open indicator. Lights up red if the right front door is open.
4 - indicator of malfunction of brake light and parking light bulbs. Lights up orange if one of the brake light or parking light bulbs is faulty.
5 - Front brake pad wear indicator. Lights up orange if the pad thickness has decreased to 1.5 mm.
6 - Driver's seat belt unfastened indicator (in a variant design). Lights up red if the driver's seat belt is not fastened.
7 - Right rear door open indicator. Lights up red if the right rear door is open.
8 - Left rear door open indicator. Lights up red if the left rear door is open.
9 - Low coolant level indicator in the expansion tank. Lights up orange if the coolant level in the expansion tank has dropped below the permissible limit. Before adding coolant to the expansion tank, check for leaks due to loss of tightness of the cooling system. In the variant version, cars are equipped with an expansion tank without a neck for installing a coolant level sensor.
10 - Low washer fluid level indicator. Lights up orange if there is less than 1 liter of washer fluid left in the tank.
ATTENTION! In some variants of vehicles, indication of some parameters may be missing.
The block can be in the following modes:
- turned off;
- standby mode;
- pre-departure control of alarms;
- control of parameters.
The unit is in the "Off" mode if the key is not inserted into the ignition switch. In position 0 ("Off") of the key in the ignition switch, the unit goes into standby mode. If the driver's door is opened, the "Forgotten key in the ignition switch" malfunction will occur, and the unit's sound signaling device will emit an intermittent signal for 5-10 seconds. The signal can be interrupted by closing the door, removing the key or turning the key to position I ("Ignition"). In position I of the key, the unit goes into the "Pre-exit signaling device check" mode, in which all light and sound signaling devices are turned on for 2-6 seconds to check their serviceability, and then after a pause of 1 second, the unit goes into the "Parameter control" mode and, if a malfunction is detected, produces an alarm according to the following algorithm:
- the indicator light of the parameter that has gone beyond the normal range starts to flash for 5-10 seconds, after which it switches to a constant glow mode until the malfunction is eliminated or the key in the ignition switch is returned to position 0 ("Off");
- simultaneously with the light signaling device, the sound signaling device turns on for 5-10 seconds;
- if another malfunction occurs, the sound signal and the light signal in flashing mode begin to operate for the last malfunction as a higher priority, and the light signal of the previous malfunction switches to a constant glow mode.
ATTENTION! A 10-minute delay has been introduced into the on-board monitoring system indicator unit for displaying the oil level in the engine crankcase.
This delay is triggered after the engine is stopped without removing the key from the ignition switch and is necessary for the oil to completely drain into the engine crankcase.
During the specified time interval, the on-board control system indicator unit remembers and displays the position of the oil level sensor that preceded the engine shutdown.
If the ignition key is removed, the current state of the oil level sensor is reset and when the engine is restarted in a time interval of less than 10 minutes, a false triggering of the low oil level indicator may occur. This indication does not indicate an emergency condition of the engine lubrication system.
