Pendulum Arm Bracket — Removal and Disassembly (VAZ-2121)

Separate the pendulum arm from the ball joints of the middle and right side rods by unscrewing the cotter pins and unscrewing the preliminary nuts and removing the ball joints from the arm sockets using puller 67.7824.9516. Then unscrew the bracket-to-side member mounting bolts and remove the bracket.

Secure the bracket in a vice, remove the cotter pin and unscrew the nut 4 (Fig. 5-12), then remove washers 3 and 6 and the pendulum arm 1 assembled with the axle 9, washer 10 and self-locking nut 11, remove the seals 7 and press out the bushings 8.
