Removal the rear light, replacing the bulbs (VAZ-21214)

The operations are shown using the right lamp as an example.

We remove the hatch in the right trim.

To replace the lamps…



...we squeeze the two plastic base fasteners with our fingers..



…and we take it out together with the lamps.



Press lightly on the lamp, turn it counterclockwise and remove it.

To replace the rear light assembly,…





…by pressing the plastic lock of the wire block to the right,…



…we take out the block.



Using an 8 mm socket with an extension, unscrew the two nuts securing the light to the body from inside the car.



Using an 8 mm socket, unscrew the two bolts securing the light to the body on the outside of the car.




We remove the rear light.

We install the lantern in the reverse order.
