The ends of the stabilizer bar must be in the same plane. If there is slight deformation, the rod can be straightened, otherwise replace it. Replace torn, cracked or loose rubber pads and bushings.
Replace torn or loose rubber pads on the stabilizer bar mounting brackets. Please note: the pillows are split, which is not a defect.
It is recommended to replace the rubber bushings of the stabilizer struts as an assembly with the struts.
1. To replace the rubber cushion, unscrew the two nuts securing the stabilizer bar bracket.
2. If necessary, pry with a screwdriver...
3....remove the bracket.
4. Remove the cushion from the stabilizer bar. Install the cushion in the reverse order of removal.
5. To replace the stabilizer strut, while holding the bolt securing the stabilizer strut to the lever from turning with the second wrench, unscrew the nut.
6. Please note: there is a spring washer under the nut.
7. Disconnect the rack from the lever by removing the bolt.
8. Remove the rack from the bar and install a new one, lubricating it with soapy water.
9. To replace the stabilizer bar, remove the brackets for its fastening, disconnect the racks from the levers. Unscrew the two bolts of the front fastening of the left longitudinal tube of the subframe and, bending it down, remove the stabilizer bar. Finally tighten the threaded connections of the stabilizer with the car standing on the ground, having previously swung the front of the car several times.
