Removal and installation of a cowl
Open the hood and disconnect the stop from the bracket on the body. Unscrew the bolts securing the hinges to the hood and remove the hood. The hood is installed in reverse order. The hood in the opening of the body must be located with a gap around the perimeter (4,5±2) mm (see fig. 179). When adjusting, outline the contours of the loops and loosen the fasteners of the loops. Due to the enlarged holes in the hinges, the position of the hood is adjusted and the hinge bolts are finally tightened.
Hood lock adjustment
In cases of unreliable locking of the hood or increased force when unlocking, adjust the position of the lock. With the hood open, outline the contours of the body 1 (see fig. 191) lock and loosen the fastening nuts. Due to the enlarged holes, the body is moved in the right direction, the nuts are tightened and the operation of the lock is checked.
Removing, installing and adjusting the trunk lid. Removal and installation are similar to removal and installation of a cowl, except for an emphasis detachment. The position of the trunk lid is adjusted, as is the position of the hood when the nuts are loosened 2 (see fig. 192) hinge attachments. Perimeter clearances are shown on rice. 179.
If lock 1 (see fig. 192) covers are unlocked or locked with effort, adjust the position of the lock. To do this, outline the contours of the lock and latch, loosen the fastenings of the lock and latch and move them to a new position. Lightly tighten the bolts, check the work and finally fix the lock and latch.
The force required to open the lid is regulated by shifting the ends of the torsion bars 4 to one of the fixing teeth of the hinge 3.
Removal and installation of bumpers
Bumpers are attached to the body at four points to the brackets that are placed between the body and the bumper. To remove the bumper, unscrew the bolts securing the brackets to the body and remove the bumper assembly with the brackets. Install bumpers in reverse order.
