Hood
Hood (pic. 144) consists of outer and inner panels made of 0.8 mm thick sheet steel. The panels are interconnected by bending the flanges with glue. Expanding gaskets are installed between the panels.

1 - hood stop bushing; 2 - hood hinge; 3 - pin; 4 - lower cup; 5 - hook; 6 - emphasis: 7 - buffers; 8 - lock washer; 9 - hook spring; 10 - hook axis, 11 - upper cup; 12 - pin spring; 13 - hood; 14 - hood fastening bolt, 15 - thrust shell bushing; 16 - axis of the handle; 17 - handle; 18 - lock thrust seal; 19 - shell with lock rod; 20 - lock rod holders; 21 - lock spring.
The hood is hung on hinges 2 along the rear edge, in front it rests on rubber buffers 7. A lock with a hook 5 is installed in the front of the hood and the front of the body, which protects against spontaneous opening of the hood. The hook is pressed by spring 9. The lock drive is cable, the lock handle 17 is located in the cabin on the left side under the instrument panel. The handle is connected by a rod in the shell 19 to the spring 21, which fixes the hood by pin 3 in the closed position. The pin is wrapped in the hood and locked with a lock nut. By changing the position of pin 3 in height, the position of the hood is adjusted in relation to the front surfaces of the front fenders and the radiator lining. Cups 4 and 11 are installed on the pin with a spring between them. In the open position, the hood is held by a metal stop 6. The end of the stop is installed in a plastic sleeve.
Enlarged holes in the brackets for fastening the hinges on the hood allow you to adjust the position of the hood in the opening of the body. When adjusting, the bolts 14 of the hinges are loosened, the hood is shifted to the desired position so that the gaps between it and the front fenders are the same, and the bolts are tightened.
In case of unreliable locking of the hood with a lock, loosen the locknut fastening pin 3 and displace it due to the enlarged hole in the hood, achieving alignment with the lock socket. After adjustment is complete, tighten the locknut.
Bumpers
The body is covered front and rear with energy-intensive bumpers. Each one consists of 4 aluminum beams (pic. 145), facing 1 and brackets for fastening the bumper to the body. The bumper cover is made of black microporous polyurethane foam with 15% crushed fiberglass and is attached to an aluminum beam. With the help of front 6 and side 2 brackets, the front bumper is attached to the body frame.

The rear bumper is also attached to the body with the help of side and rear brackets.
Radiator cover
Radiator cover (pic. 146) It is made, like the bumper, from microporous polyurethane foam with the addition of 20% crushed fiberglass. A radiator grille 3 with a factory mark installed on it is attached to the facing 6 in front with the help of hooks and a metal reinforcement 7 is attached to the rear along the edge with nuts. The facing and radiator grille are covered with polyurethane enamel to match the body color.
