In order not to disturb the balance of the wheel, before disassembling it is necessary to make a mark with chalk on the tire against the chamber valve and install the tire according to this mark during installation. Before proceeding with the disassembly of the tire, it is necessary to prepare a tool: a clamp or jack to separate the tire bead from the rim, a mounting blade, a wrench for fastening the wheels and a hammer. The mounting blade and the key must be free of burrs and sharp edges. At a distance of 10... 15 mm from the edge of the blade, it is recommended to wind an insulating tape or put on a tight rubber sleeve to protect the rim edge from damage. The wheel is placed horizontally, valve up. Using a jack or clamp, slide the tire bead off the rim seat. Then, stepping with their feet, they upset the tire on one side to the middle of the rim. Turning the wheel 180°, separate the second bead of the tire from the rim and remove the chamber. To facilitate disassembly, it is recommended to moisten the seats of the rim and tire with soapy water.
Before mounting the tire, the inner cavity of the tire and the chamber must be wiped with talcum powder so that the chamber does not «stuck» to the tire, otherwise these places of the chamber will be damaged. Some car enthusiasts, before assembling a tire, rub the places where the tire beads come into contact with the wheel rim with paraffin, which, when heated, fills all the gaps and pores and moisture does not penetrate into the place of contact between the tire and the rim. This facilitates the re-dismantling of the tire, as the tire easily separates from the rim.
After installing the tire, be sure to check the wheel balance at a service station.
