Attention! If the floats are not positioned correctly, the carburetor will not work. Therefore, be sure to check the installation of the floats according to the template (see "Adjusting the fuel level in the float chamber").
Attention! Do not clean jets with metal objects. The use of thin copper wire is allowed. The diameter of the wire must be less than the diameter of the hole in the jet. Otherwise, the calibration of the jet will be violated.
1. If the filter mesh is torn or cannot be washed out, replace the filter. Replace a badly compressed or damaged O-ring.
2. Inspect the floats and gasket. If these parts are damaged, be sure to replace them.
3. If there are traces of floats touching the chamber wall, bend the float bracket, then check the installation of the floats according to the template.
4. Blow out the channels and holes in the carburetor cap with compressed air. Inspect the mating surfaces of the cover: if they are damaged, replace it.
5. Examine the starter parts. Replace a frayed or torn diaphragm, and replace the spring if it is broken or cracked.
6. Blow out the idle fuel jet with compressed air. If the jet is not blown, clean its hole with a thin copper wire. Clean the rest of the jets in the same way.
7. Inspect the o-ring. If it is torn, cracked, or the rubber has lost elasticity, replace it.
8. Check solenoid valve. To do this, connect the wire from the terminal "+" battery to the valve terminal, and the wire from the terminal "–" - to the valve body. In this case, the valve needle should be drawn into the body. If it doesn't, replace the valve.
9. Inspect the parts of the accelerator pump. Replace a worn or torn diaphragm. If the spring is broken or damaged, replace it.
10. Inspect the mating surfaces of the accelerator pump cover and carburetor body. Replace parts with damaged surfaces.
11. Check the ease of movement of the lever in the cover of the accelerator pump. The lever should turn freely, without jamming.
12. Inspect the details of the power savings economizer. Replace a worn or torn diaphragm. Also replace a broken or damaged spring.
13. Inspect the mating surfaces of the economizer cover and carburetor body. Replace parts with damaged surfaces.
14. Rinse and clean the holes of the emulsion tubes with acetone or gasoline.
15. Blow with compressed air (you can use a tire pump) accelerator pump spray hole...
