Removing
1. Remove the throttle assembly from the intake module without disconnecting the hoses.
2. Using a 10 mm head, unscrew the two bracket mounting bolts, and remove the throttle cable together with the bracket to the side.
3. We remove the tips of the high-voltage wires from the candle wells of 1, 2, 3 cylinders, take out the high-voltage wires from the plastic bracket (1) and put them aside without disconnecting from the ignition module.
Similarly, we disconnect the high-voltage wire of the fourth cylinder from the spark plug and plastic bracket (2).
4. Remove the wire harness holders from the receiver studs and move the harness forward.
Note. To keep the wiring harness out of the way, you can disconnect the harness connector from the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, the canister purge valve and set it aside.
5. After loosening the clamp, remove the vacuum brake booster hose from the intake manifold pipe.
6. Using an 8 mm wrench, we loosen the tightening of the four clamps that secure the rubber couplings to the receiver pipes.
7. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the two nuts securing the receiver to the cylinder head cover.
8. Remove the receiver from the engine.
9. If necessary, use a 10 mm socket wrench to unscrew the four bolts and remove the two plastic brackets for fastening the high-voltage wires.
10. If necessary, use a 10 mm socket wrench to loosen the clamps securing the four couplings to the inlet pipeline and remove the couplings.
Installation
We install the engine receiver and all removed parts on the car in reverse order.
