Advice. The throttle assembly can be removed without draining the coolant. This will require two M10 bolts as plugs.
Warning! Start work only after the engine has cooled down to a safe temperature (not higher than 45°C).
Comment. The removal of the throttle assembly is shown on the engine 21114. On other engines, work is carried out similarly.
Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. On engines 2112, 21124 and 21114, remove the engine trim (see "Decorative overlay of the engine - removal and installation").
3. Having unscrewed the plug of the expansion tank, we relieve excess pressure in the engine cooling system.
4. Remove the air supply hose to the throttle (see "Throttle valve - actuator adjustment").
5. Disconnect the throttle cable from the sector (see "Throttle valve - replacement of the drive cable").
6. Disconnect the wiring harness from the throttle position sensor (see "Throttle Position Sensor - Check and Replace").
7. Disconnect the block of wires from the idle speed controller (see "Idle speed regulator - check and replacement").
8. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamps for fastening the hose of the crankcase ventilation system (1), two coolant supply hoses (2) and adsorber hose (3).
9. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose from the throttle body fitting.
10. Disconnect the adsorber hose from the throttle assembly.
11. Key by 13 mm unscrew the two nuts securing the throttle assembly to the receiver flange.
12. Remove the throttle assembly from the studs and lift it above the expansion tank of the cooling system. While holding the throttle assembly in a raised position, remove the coolant supply hoses from the throttle body fittings.
Note. To replace the throttle assembly gasket, it is not necessary to disconnect the coolant supply hoses.
13. We insert M10 bolts into the hoses. To prevent them from falling out, tighten the hose clamps.
14. On engines 21114 and 21124 remove the sealing rubber ring from the groove of the receiver flange. Replace damaged ring.
On engines 2111 and 2112 remove the gasket from the studs. Replace damaged gasket.
Installation
Install the throttle assembly in reverse order.
