Warning! Before performing the operation, read the safety regulations for servicing and repairing the power supply system (see "Safety precautions for maintenance and repair of the power supply system").
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Fold the rear seat cushions forward.
3. Bend back the edge of the carpet.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the hatch cover.

5. Remove the hatch cover.
6. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the fuel module.

7. After turning on the starter, turn the crankshaft for 10-15 seconds.
Comment. If we start the engine, we wait until all the gasoline in the fuel line is used up and the engine stalls
8. Turn off the ignition.
9. Connect the wiring harness block to the fuel module.
10. Install the hatch cover back in place.
11. Return the rear seat cushions to their original position.
Warning! After releasing the pressure, a small amount of gasoline remains in the fuel line
Recommendation: If you do not plan to remove the fuel module or fuel tank, it is better to relieve pressure in the fuel system as follows: Remove the relay or fuse for the electric fuel pump (see "Engine Management System Relays and Fuses").
2. Turn on the starter for 10-15 seconds. If the engine starts, wait until it stops due to fuel exhaustion.
