Removing
1. Remove the throttle assembly from the receiver without disconnecting the hoses (see "Throttle assembly - removal, gasket replacement and installation").
2. head by 10 mm unscrew the two bracket mounting bolts and move the throttle cable together with the bracket to the side.
3. We remove the tips of high-voltage wires from the candle wells of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd cylinders (see "High voltage motor wires 2112 (1,5i 16V) - removal and installation"), remove the high-voltage wires from the plastic bracket (1) and put them aside without disconnecting from the ignition module.
Similarly, we disconnect the high-voltage wire of the fourth cylinder from the spark plug and plastic bracket (2).
4. Remove the wire harness holders from the receiver studs and move the harness forward.
Comment. So that the wiring harness does not interfere, you can disconnect the wiring harness pads for the crankshaft and camshaft position sensors, the canister purge valve and put it aside
5. After loosening the clamp, remove the vacuum brake booster hose from the receiver pipe.
6. Key by 8 mm loosen the four clamps securing the rubber couplings to the receiver pipes.
7. socket wrench by 10 mm unscrew the two nuts securing the receiver to the cylinder head cover.
8. Disconnect the hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
9. Remove the receiver from the engine.
10. Socket wrench if needed by 10 mm unscrew the four bolts and remove the two plastic brackets for fastening the high-voltage wires.
11. In the presence of damage to the rubber couplings, with a socket wrench by 10 mm we loosen the clamps of their fastening to the inlet pipeline and remove the couplings.
Installation
Install the receiver in reverse order.
