The cylinder mirror and the working surface of the pistons must be completely clean, without rust, scratches and other defects. An increased gap between the cylinder and the pistons is unacceptable.
Each time you disassemble the cylinder, replace the seals with new ones, even if they appear to be in good condition
Check the elasticity of the piston spring, the length of which should be 36 mm under a load of 34.3+6,86 H (3.5+0,7 kgf), 21 mm under load 62.23+9,8 H (6.35+1,0 kgf), in a free state - 57.5 mm.
