Vacuum booster — removal and installation (VAZ-2121)

When removing the booster, the master cylinder of the brake hydraulic drive is not disconnected from the hydraulic system to prevent air from getting into it.

The order of removal.

• disconnect the vacuum booster pushrod from the pedal;
• unscrew the nuts securing the master cylinder to the booster, remove it from the studs and move it to the side;
• disconnect the hose from the amplifier;
• unscrew the nuts securing the booster to the clutch and brake pedal bracket and remove the booster;

Install the vacuum booster in reverse order.
