Cleaning
Before you begin repairing your brakes, wash them thoroughly with warm water and a special detergent and dry them immediately with a jet of compressed air.
Warning: Do not use gasoline, diesel fuel, trichloroethylene or any other mineral solvents when cleaning brakes, as they will damage the cylinder seals.
