Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the nut on the bolt securing the fork of the lower cardan joint of the intermediate shaft to the shaft of the steering gear worm, holding the bolt from turning with a wrench of the same size.
We take out the bolt.
The two bolts that secure the front steering shaft bracket to the body have shear heads.
By hitting the heads of the bolts with a chisel, we loosen their tightening..
… and use pliers to unscrew the bolts.
Remove the bolt retaining plates.
Using a 13 mm head, unscrew the two nuts of the front bracket mount.
We lower the steering shaft.
Having loosened the cardan joint split fork with a screwdriver,…
…we pull the shaft off the splines of the steering gear worm shaft.
To remove the intermediate shaft…
...with two 13 mm wrenches, unscrew the nut of the bolt securing the intermediate shaft cardan joint fork to the upper steering shaft.
We take out the bolt and remove the terminal of the "ground" wire.
We pull the cardan joint fork off the splines of the upper steering shaft.
We assemble and install the steering column in the reverse order.
