Warning! Before performing the operation, read the safety regulations for servicing and repairing the power supply system (see "Safety precautions for maintenance and repair of the power supply system").
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Relieve the fuel pressure in the fuel line (see "Fuel line - pressure relief").
3. Remove the air filter housing (see "Air filter - removal and installation").
4. With two keys by 17 mm unscrew the fitting (2) of the fuel rail tube, holding the hexagonal tip of the fuel line hose that supplies fuel to the rail. Move the tip of the hose away from the tube. Similarly, disconnect the fitting (3) of the fuel drain tube into the tank. Release the clamp (1) securing the wiring harness.

5. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screws securing the fuel line tubes and remove the bracket clamping plate (see "Fuel rail engine 21124 (1.6i 16V) - removal and installation").
6. Remove the rubber sealing rings from the tubes (see "Fuel rail engine 21124 (1.6i 16V) - removal and installation"). We replace damaged sealing rings.
7. Remove the receiver (see "Engine receiver 2112 (1.5i 16v) - removal and installation").
8. Disconnect the wiring harness connector and detach it from the bracket (see "Injectors - check").

9. Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the clamp securing the crankcase ventilation hose and remove the hose from the cylinder head cover pipe.

10. With a socket wrench by 10 mm using a ratchet, loosen the bolt securing the oil level indicator tube...

...and we remove the tube together with the pointer.

11. With a hex key by 5 mm we unscrew the two bolts securing the fuel rail to the cylinder head.

12. Remove the fuel rail assembly with injectors, wiring harness and fuel pressure regulator.

Note: To remove the fuel rail, pull it towards you and then move it to the left side
Disassembly
13. Using a slotted screwdriver, release the two wire harness mounting brackets.

14. Disconnect the four wiring harness connectors from the injectors.

15. Remove the wiring harness from the fuel rail.
16. Having moved the spring retainer along the fuel rail, remove the injector.

17. Remove the spring retainer of the injector from the fuel rail.

18. Key by 24 mm we unscrew the nut of the fuel drain pipe...

...and remove the end of the tube from the pressure regulator.

19. With a hex key by 5 mm unscrew the two bolts securing the fuel pressure regulator (1) and move the clamping bar (2) of the fuel supply pipe along the fuel rail. Remove the fuel pressure regulator (3)...

...and we remove the tube from the ramp hole.

Warning! Damaged sealing rings on fuel lines and injectors must be replaced.
Assembly and installation
We assemble and install the fuel rail in the reverse order.
Before assembly, cover the sealing rubber rings with a thin layer of motor oil.
