Upper arm
Between the lever eyes, install the device 67.7823.9527 on the axle and place the lever on the mandrel A.47045 (Fig. 4-10). Using the press punch, press on the axle 1 of the lever until the hinge 3 is pressed out of the hole. To press out the second hinge, turn the lever over and repeat the operation.
Pressing in the upper arm joints is done using tool 67.7853.9519 (Fig. 4-11) clamped in a vice. Mount the arm with axle 1 on tool 2, place the joint on the axle and press it into the arm socket using tool 3 (A.74177/1). Then repeat the above operations to press in the second joint on the other side of the arm.
Lower arm. Pressing out and pressing in of the joint can be done either on a press using the 67.7823.9526 fixture, or using the 67.7823.9517 fixture (Fig. 4-12), which is installed on the arm so that the head of the fixture screw is directed inward. Press out the joint by tightening the fixture screw.
To press in, insert the joint into the lever socket and install the 67.7823.9517 tool (Fig. 4-13) complete with cap 3. By tightening the tool screw, press the joint into the lever socket.
