- remove the plugs from the radiator and expansion tank, open the heater valve;
- disconnect the heater hose (upper) from the fitting on the car body;
- fill in coolant (10.7 l) into the radiator (liquid is poured along the upper edge of the filler neck) until a leak appears from the hose and heater fitting;
- connect the heater hose to the fitting and replace the radiator cap. Add the remaining liquid to the expansion tank and close it with a stopper;
- to remove air pockets, start the engine and let it idle until the coolant temperature is equal to the opening temperature of the main thermostat valve (80±2) °C. In this case, the inlet and outlet pipes of the radiator must be hot.
After the engine has cooled down, check the coolant level. If the level is below normal, and there are no signs of leakage in the system, then add fluid.
