- remove the plugs from the radiator and expansion tank, open the heater tap;
- disconnect the heater hose (upper) from the fitting on the car body;
- pour coolant (10.7 l) into the radiator (the liquid is poured up to the top edge of the filler neck) until a leak appears from the heater hose and fitting;
- connect the heater hose to the fitting and put the radiator cap back in place. Add the remaining liquid to the expansion tank and close it with the cap;
- to remove air locks, start the engine and let it idle until the coolant temperature reaches the opening temperature of the main thermostat valve (80±2)°C. The radiator inlet and outlet pipes should be hot.
After the engine has cooled down, check the coolant level. If the level is below normal and there are no signs of leakage in the system, then top up the fluid.
