Disconnect the suspension arm 11 from the subframe bracket 8 and remove the arm and brace. Unscrew the bolts securing the shoe guide to the steering knuckle 13, hang the caliper assembly with the shoes on a technological hook so that the hose is not loaded.
By moving rack 1 to the side and turning it, using puller A.40005, press out splined tip 14 from the hub (see figure 97) constant velocity joint housings. From the engine compartment side, unscrew the nuts securing the telescopic strut to the body mudguard and remove the suspension strut assembly with the steering knuckle and wheel hub.
Performing the above operations, remove the other front suspension strut. Disconnect from the levers 11 (see figure 99), and then remove the struts 10 from the rod 9, unscrew the nuts securing the anti-roll bar to the subframe and remove the anti-roll bar.
Installation of front suspension components and parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- when assembling, the stretcher is installed with the mark facing up;
- nuts for fastening the struts, nuts for fastening the bolts of the suspension arms to the subframe brackets, nuts for fastening the stabilizer struts to the transverse suspension arms and nuts for fastening the stabilizer bar to the subframe are pre-tightened until the clearances in the joints are selected;
- all nuts securing rubber-metal hinges, rubber bushings and cushions are finally tightened to the torques specified in adj. 1, with a static load of 2205 N or using special weights;
- when installing the anti-roll bar, make sure that the cushions are not damaged when tightening the bolts: after tightening the wheel hub mounting nut, squeeze its belt into both grooves of the hinge housing tail.
