Disconnect the suspension arm 11 from the bracket 8 of the subframe and remove the arm and extension. The bolts securing the guide pads to the steering knuckle 13 are unscrewed, the caliper assembly with the pads is hung on a technological hook so that the hose is not loaded.
Taking aside and turning the rack 1, using the puller A.40005, the splined tip 14 is pressed out of the hub (see fig. 97) body of the hinge of equal angular speeds. From the side of the engine compartment, unscrew the nuts securing the telescopic strut to the mudguard of the body and remove the suspension strut assembly with the steering knuckle and wheel hub.
Performing these operations, remove the other front suspension strut. Disconnect from levers 11 (see fig. 99), and then removed from the bar 9 of the rack 10, unscrew the nuts securing the anti-roll bar to the subframe and remove the stabilizer bar.
Installation of components and parts of the front suspension is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- during assembly, the stretching is set with the mark up;
- the nuts for fastening the braces, the nuts for the bolts for fastening the suspension arms to the subframe brackets, the nuts for fastening the stabilizer struts to the transverse suspension arms and the nuts for fastening the stabilizer bar to the subframe are pre-tightened until the gaps in the joints are selected;
- all nuts securing rubber-metal hinges, rubber bushings and pillows are finally tightened to the torques indicated in adj. 1, with a static load of 2205 N or using special weights;
- when installing the anti-roll bar, make sure that the pillows are not damaged when the bolts are tightened: after tightening the wheel hub fastening nuts, they compress its belt into both grooves of the hinge housing shank.
