1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the receiver (see "Engine receiver 21114 (1.6i 8v) - removal, replacement of seals and installation").
3. Remove the engine intake manifold (see "Intake manifold and exhaust manifold of the 2111 engine (1.5i 8v) - removal and installation, gasket replacement").
4. Remove the oxygen concentration sensor from the manifold (see "Oxygen Concentration Sensor - Checking and Replacing").
5. Remove the engine splash guard (see "Engine Mudguard - Removal and Installation").
6. With a socket wrench by 13 mm we unscrew the two nuts securing the bracket clamping plate.

7. Remove the bar from the studs.

8. With a spanner by 13 mm we unscrew the two bolts securing the bracket to the cylinder block.

9. Remove the bracket from the engine compartment downwards.
Warning! The following operation must be performed only in the order specified below, otherwise the coolant pump pipe bracket may be bent
10. With a socket wrench by 13 mm loosen the lower nut (2) securing the coolant pump pipe bracket. Using the same wrench, unscrew the upper nut (1) of the bracket and remove the upper end of the bracket from the stud (view from the engine compartment bulkhead).

11. With a socket wrench by 13 mm with a deep head, unscrew the exhaust manifold mounting nut remaining on the upper stud, and unscrew the catalytic manifold mounting nut on the right side (when viewed from the engine compartment bulkhead).

12. Disconnect the intake pipe from the additional muffler (see "Engine intake pipe 21114 (1.6i 8v) - removal and installation").
13. Remove the catalytic collector assembly with the inlet pipe.

14. Remove the sealing gasket from the cylinder head studs.

15. Disconnect the inlet pipe from the exhaust manifold (see "Engine intake pipe 21114 (1.6i 8v) - removal and installation").
16. Install the removed parts in the reverse order. Replace the gasket and damaged parts.
