If the oil leak does not stop, replace the oil seal.
You will need: a screwdriver, a 17 mm socket head, a ratchet, and a 10 mm wrench.
1. Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.
2. Set the piston of the 1st cylinder to TDC (see "Setting the piston of the first cylinder to the TDC position of the compression stroke").
3. Remove the camshaft pulley (see "Replacing the cylinder head gasket").
4. Remove the key from the camshaft.
5. Using a screwdriver, remove the seal.
6. Before installing a new oil seal, inspect the working edge 1. It should be smooth, without tears, dents and rubber build-up. The spring 2 of the oil seal should be intact and not stretched. Lubricate the working edge with engine oil.
Helpful Hint: To make it easier to press in the seal, make a small chamfer on its seating edge using a file or fine emery wheel.
7. Install the oil seal with the working edge inside the cylinder head, carefully tuck the working edge onto the camshaft using a wooden stick…
8. …and press it in until it stops using a suitable mandrel,
9. Install all parts in the reverse order of removal. Install the camshaft pulley with the protruding part of the hub toward the engine. Adjust the tension of the camshaft drive belt (see "Replacing the camshaft drive belt and adjusting the belt tension").
