Rechargeable battery (VAZ-21214)

The cars are equipped with a lead starter battery 6-CT55A or its imported analogues. The battery case is made of translucent plastic with marks of the maximum and minimum permissible electrolyte levels in operation. The battery is low-maintenance, i.e. it is equipped with a device for collecting evaporating water, however, with prolonged use, especially in hot climates, the electrolyte level may decrease. If there have been no cases of electrolyte splashing out, only distilled water should be added.
